I’ve always liked this idea. To find a sense of comfort and solace in knowing that you’re not alone. I remember my mom used to say that for every emotion you’re feeling and every experience you’re going through, there’s a song for it. Perhaps this applies more to sad, sappy love songs but you get the idea. There’s something about the words of your heart’s soul being transposed into words on the radio that is therapeutic, cleansing, reassuring. And through some magical power of their own, they help you to move on.
The only way to survive in the confines of New York: compromise.
